Dodgeball and Dinner.
Meghan watched Lily on Friday night so Marisa and I could go on a date. We saw Dodgeball. I liked it. It was stupid and predictable, but funny and entertaining. It would have sucked without Vince Vaughn and Christine Taylor has a strange face. Then we went to TGI Fridays and had dinner and a drink. It was like before we had a kid except for the part where we talk about our kid the whole time.

Watching her do it tires me out.
Dar's Mandala

This is a picture of Dar doing a Mandala Sand Painting in her studio in Las Vegas. If you've ever seen Tibetan Monks do this, you know how amazing it is. Monks usually do these as a group, but Dar has been working on this one for over a year BY HERSELF. It's about 4 ft. square and when she's done she'll sweep it up (there's a little bit more to it than that, but you should ask her). When I'm in Vegas and she's working on it with a crowd watching, I like to walk in and say "Aren't you finished with that thing yet?" It's called "art heckling" you should try it some time (probably best if you know the artist). Oh, check out her newly reinvented blog HERE and leave her some comments... Pronto!

Splash! Gurgle! Zap!
Well, it looks like we need to buy a new cell phone for Marisa. It seems that while drying off at the pool with Lily today, Lily decided to grab Marisa's phone, run over to the pool and throw it in. Kids are so cute!

Photographer's Forum
I get a few questions about photography around here and I thought I'd pass on one of my favorite places to talk shop on the net. Our main trade publication is called Photo District News or PDN. They have great forums. If you ever want to read a bunch of blow hard photographers bitch and moan about the business (sorry guys and girls, me included) and give great business and technical advice while they're at it, then go check it out. I've been a little absent over there, but I promise to start posting more...promise.
