01/26/2005: "Whoa! Break Out Your Crimping Irons!"

In my defense, this was shot for a hair care products company a few years back...

New shots are coming folks, I just have to get them ready for the public. :-) Anyway, I don't have a lot to say about this other than... I got nothin. Well, this (for me anyway) is a rare situation where a beautiful girl doesn't look so beautiful, but it works for some reason. I don't think it would have as much impact if she looked pretty in this shot. It's kinda punk rock, I guess.

camera/film: Hasselblad ELM, 150mm. Fuji Provia 100.
lighting: Profoto Ring Flash converted for Speedotron pack.
post Obviously there's a bunch of added saturation here. The blur is a motion blur applied in Photoshop.
