iTunes Roulette!
Time for another game of iTunes Roulette (my new official name for this little bit of musical fun). You know the routine. Put your mp3 player on shuffle or random and hit play. Write down the first 10 or 15 songs it plays no matter how embarrassing. I choose to go for 15. It doesn't matter much either way. If you get embarrassed in the first ten, you can hope to be redeemed in the last five, but if you're doing good in the first ten, you run the chance of ruining it by doing another five. Here is my new list. I got some repeated artists from the last list, but this time there are no repeated bands on the list itself.
1) Rasputina - My Little Shirtwaist Fire 2) Cake - Race Car Ya-Yas 3) Orbital - Pay Per View 4) Portishead - Humming 5) De-Phazz - Happiness 6) The Dickies - Hideous 7) Peaches - Skateboard 8) The Nails - 88 Lines About 44 Women 9) Oingo Boingo - Running on a Treadmill 10) N.E.R.D. - Lapdance 11) Bauhaus - Poison Pen 12) The White Stripes - Fell in Love With a Girl 13) Dirty Vegas - Simple Things Part 2 14) Richard Cheese - Creep 15) Mc Solaar - Comme Dans un Film
That does it for this weeks installment of iTunes Roulette! Other than my age showing up a few time on the list, I was spared any major humiliation. Oh... and for return visitors, the linking of the band names just takes too damned long. Sorry.

The Sloganator!
Well, in case you missed it. The Bush web site had a “make your own poster” page set up a couple weeks ago where you could add your own words to a Bush Cheney poster. Well, it didn't take long for the anti Bush crowd to take over and then for the Bush camp to remove the functionality. Here is a great slide show of some of the great posters that were made before they stopped the fun. Say what you want about liberals, but they are definitely much funnier than conservatives. High-larious!
Thanks to Wonkette for starting the craze.

Audio Bored
OK, now this is very cool. I found this at Pursed Lip Square Jaw, it's a message board called Audio Bored that you leave an audio message on by calling an 800 number. I tested it out and it works great (my message is number 3 in the art section). Most of the messages are test messages right now, but I can see how this may end up as a real time waster. You can even set one up on your own site!

Don't be shy...really...You can leave a comment even if it's just to tell me I suck.
