I understand the emphasis on the nails and the sticks, but her eyes seem a bit soft and I keep being drawn to that. I like the pose and the colors incorporated in the shot though. I like this black and white tile though. Must get some of that to play with myself. I forget to use stuff like that in studio shots.

I too am drawn to her eyes. but I think that's just the model. The see the nails as the definite focus. Love the shadows. Great picture.

Thanks everyone. Yes, it's a little hard to see the difference in focus from the hands to her face in the small blog image. This is much more apparent in the full page shot in the magazine. It's actually one of those things that I noticed when I sized the image down, but was a little biased from my prior knowledge of the focus. I didn't realize how others might not be able to see it as clearly.
