Meghan has a great blog. Go now and comment!

This is NOT my sister-in-law Meghan's new head shot. :-) Well, I did shoot this when we finished doing the new headshots... Anyway, Meghan was in a television pilot that didn't get picked up for next season. Let's hope she gets her big break soon so I can stop working. :-)
camera/film: Horseman LX 4x5, Schneider 360mm 6.8 Symmar-S. Polaroid Type 55 Pos/Neg. I always shoot these types of portraits wide open at 6.8 with a bit of forward tilt on the lens board. That's how I get the shallow depth of field. lighting: Elinchrom Octa bank as the main light.

Meghan does indeed have a great blog. She's also very photgenic.

I just went through many of your photos. And I must say you are truly amazing! Do you do these all as a hobby, or income?
Amazing work. Definitly bookmarking you site.

Welcome Heather. Go to the "brooks ayola photographer" link on the right to see my commercial site. Yes, I do this for a living. I really liked the self portraits on your site!

I thought I would see the fur-hat-glasses-shot. I like this one, though.
