04/19/2005: "Rodger Knievel"

This goofy ass picture is Rodger...

It's part of a triptych that I did a few years ago. I recently showed it to him and neither of us remember anything about when and why we shot the pictures, but I laugh every time I see this one. It tells more about his personality then any of the suave actor photos I have shot of him. When you're around Rodger, keep your bullshit meter turned all the way up. He prays on the gullible for fun and I've seen him in action on more than one occasion. I think our friend Lisa still thinks he might have had a friend named Richard Whisky. Sorry if you've never heard that joke. Oh, and the Knievel thing is me making fun of him for recently crashing his motorcycle. He's a little sore, but he'll make it.

I honestly wish I had a print of this photo. I would love to have this in my house -- the whole thing of it just makes me happy. Especially the hair.

Great character shot! So how much voltage was required to get his hair to stand up like that? Did you zap him with a speedotron pack?
