 Rodger is going to be a daddy soon... Rodger and Yolanda were at my studio for two full days while I photographed new products of theirs (girls will want to click that last little link). It was a lot of fun hanging out with them again. I wanted to get a picture of the very pregnant Yolanda, but we ran late so she's going to come back. I did shoot a few frames of Rodger and he wasn't feeling pretty so I agreed that I wouldn't see his face and that I was just shooting the necklaces he was wearing. Well, I lied. I did see his face, but showed him that it was a cool shot of him so agreed that I could post it. For a minute there you all thought I couldn't be trusted, huh? camera/film: Canon 10D, 28-105mm @ 70mm lighting: To the left is a Speedotron head with an 11" reflector and a 10° grid spot aimed at the chest. To the right, on the ground pointing up, is another Speedo head with a 20" reflector with a diffuser on it for fill. That's it! I like it because it has a nice dark gray look when you put light right on it, but if you just move the subject a little bit away from it, it goes black.
