01/06/2005: "Another Cowboy"
Here's another shot from the Dallas Cowboys shoot I did a few years back... grooming: Yolanda Halston styling: Lisa Oliver
This is Chad Hennings. He flew an A-10 attack plane in the first Gulf War then came home to spend nine years in the NFL playing Defensive Tackle for the Dallas Cowboys, where he won three Superbowl rings. You can see one of them on his hand in this shot. He was one of the nicest guys I met that day. A small town boy who, if my memory serves me correctly, called me Sir a couple times. He's quite a big guy and I wouldn't want to have to sit behind him in those seats.
camera/film: Hasselblad, 150mm. Fuji Provia 100. lighting: Texas Stadium has a big hole in the roof. This makes for some great open shade. The shot is made primarily with available light, but I did use a Speedotron head with a Chimera XS Super Pro light box aimed at Chad's face from the upper right to key him and make him pop a little from the background.

~XLNT shot...the colors and how the shirt compliments the seats, the expression and off-center placement of the subject are appealing, and lastly the DoF and fading focus of the seats in the bg...what a darn good shot (wish it were mine)~
