I don't remember that last time the death of someone that I've never met has done that. I guess I'm just a true photo geek at heart.

We should all be so lucky to leave such an impressive record; even if it is "Just advertising departments with legs and high heels", Richard Avedon. It still looks good to me.

I hope you caught/catch it (since you're on the west coast), but Sunday Morning on CBS just did a really nice piece in tribute to Richard Avedon.
